| B&C's practical action |
||
| B&C is charged with a special responsibility towards the staff who produce our models. Every B&C supplier gives a written undertaking to comply with the code of conduct issued by the BSCI. We verify that commitment through audits, set targets for our suppliers and help them to improve by devising remedial action plans. Having operated in Bangladesh for a long time past, B&C wished to show its solidarity with the country and its suppliers, and therefore initiated positive actions in Bangladesh following the collapse of the Spectrum factory. In February 2005, with a view to solidarity and offering support to all Tsunami victims, B&C sent the Sri Lanka Red Cross 10,000 T-shirts of all sizes. |
B&C is also concerned with training its buyers and suppliers, with the aim of ensuring a better understanding of the subject of BSCI. |
